Sports Injuries

Many of us are involved with exercise or sport. This has many advantages. Occasionally we are injured as a result of an accident or overuse. Occasionally, poor training methods are involved .

The injuries that we see range from minor injuries to major. As a regular part of our practice, we assess and manage

  • Ankle sprains
  • Knee ligament and cartilage (meniscus) injuries
  • Calf muscle tears
  • Overuse injuries of the Leg
  • Shoulder tendinitis , dislocations and instability
  • Tennis elbow
  • Spinal pain

When you initially present for physiotherapy , the initial assessment helps to determine an accurate management plan. if your examination indicates a significant issue, we can arrange a prompt sports medicine physician or orthopaedic surgeon review,if required. These services are available on site.

We have an x-ray facility adjacent to our practice.

If you not sure as to whether we can help on not, please call. All you need to do is, call and speak with one of our physiotherapists who will assist you in determining whether physiotherapy is likely to help you. Please call and have a chat. This phone review is provided without obligation to the clinic and with no fee involved. Whilst we cannot diagnose your problem over the phone, our experience allows us to help determine your best initial assessment option.
